2013: Year of the Snake

So our store in Passaic has this GIANT 8 foot long tank. And it has sat lonely and empty for many years now:

When we were kids it was filled with goldfish and catfish. These were some serious fish – imagine below. Ok well…close enough. (Things look bigger thru glass right? And were 3 feet tall at the time…so- relative scale?)

Anyway…we’ve been wanting to do something with the tank for a LONG time but weren’t sure what. The fish part of the tank (you know the thing that makes the bubbles so the fish can breathe) was broken and that’s why the whole tank has been empty. We could always fix the bubble blower and get more fish…but we got to thinking. These fish would be our mascot. Nohble is bad ass and we are bad ass…but are goldfish bad ass??
Then one day we were walking around in Paterson and some dude was chilling on the corner with a snake. And we joked yeah we should get a snake for the tank. But then we got serious – WE SHOULD GET A SNAKE FOR THE TANK! Imagine below.

Now that is BAD ASS. But the more we got to thinking…the more realistic we got. This snake died trying to eat an alligator. We are not trying to win the Guinness Book of World Records and we are not trying to buy or hunt alligators or deer or whatever else huge to feed it.

So back to reality…we are still feeling our snake idea. Did some homework and got the tank checked out and its def big enough to home a 10 foot guy (or girl). So what do you think? An appropriate Nohble mascot? Would you come to the store to check the snake out? Shop more cause snakes are dope and very Tony Montana of us? Shop less cause you are scared shitless of snakes? Do you have a 10 foot snake you are looking to have rescued? Buckets of frozen mice for sale? Let us know.
