Human Resources Generalist

Overview

The Human Resources Generalist is relied upon to provide oversight to all aspects of the HR function. This includes employee relations, payroll processing. This role requires someone that is extremely detail oriented, has a high emotional IQ, excellent communication skills, and a general understanding of HR principles. As with all Nohble employees, an understanding of sneaker and streetwear culture is a huge plus.

Role requires the ability to travel to all five NJ and NY retail locations. Hybrid work possible with our Secaucus, NJ office as the main worksite. 

Experience using QuickBooks is also a plus. Four year college degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or Accounting preferred. Ideal candidates also possess knowledge of retail operations as they impact AP and HR functions. "Streetwear" & "Sneakerhead” product knowledge is a plus.

$50-55K salaried role. 

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Senior Director of HR to align human resources initiatives with business objectives
  • Assist with implementation and administration of HR systems, specifically an HRIS/ATS
  • Work with Payroll and Benefits specialist to complete tasks related to payroll runs semi-monthly
  • Assist the Sr. Director of HR on L&D strategy and implementation
  • Oversee and manage the full cycle recruitment process, ensuring talent pipelines and maintaining time to fill standards
  • Manage HR related administration, including employee files, company forms, etc.
  • Assist with light office management duties as needed

Requirements

  • At least 1 yr of experience in human resources, ideally in a retail environment
  • 4 yr degree in HR or related field
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience with Google and MS Suite, including Excel
  • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus, but not required
