Human Resources / Accounts Payable Assistant


Human Resources / Accounts Payable Assistants are responsible for HR management, including payroll processing, and AP processing. This is an entry-level position. Qualified candidates are highly detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve. They work well under pressure and are highly efficient communicators with a mastery of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience using QuickBooks is also a plus. Four year college degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or Accounting preferred. Ideal candidates also possess knowledge of retail operations as they impact AP and HR functions. "Streetwear" & "Sneakerhead” product knowledge is a plus.

Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • Human Resources – recruiting, training, and managing employee relations throughout the organization including but not limited to maintaining employment files, processing payroll and associated taxes, and working with Store Management to enforce and improve HR processes and procedures
  • Account Payable - processing and making vendor payments, responding to inquiries, paying business related expenses - taxes, insurance etc., addressing any credit card processing issues, purchase supplies etc.
  • performing daily office operations and support functions for retail stores
  • ensuring compliance with Company and all other legal
  • liaising with store managers and upper management
  • performing other duties as assigned
