Loss Prevention Associate
BRONX, NY - NEW YORK, NY - NEWARK, NJ - PASSAIC, NJ ONLY
Loss Prevention Associates are critical team members responsible for the execution of Company programs for safety, shortage control, internal fraud detection and deterrence, and shoplifting detection and deterrence. They protect Company assets through activities in safety, inventory recovery and internal/external theft. Some essential duties include assisting with reduction of loss of inventory, time, and assets, as well as monitoring surveillance equipment and apprehending internal and external theft suspects.
Typical responsibilities of the job include:
- conducting audits and inspections in compliance with Company guidelines
- assisting Store Management with the detection, investigation, and closure of fraud cases
- following Company guidelines to minimize loss including but not limited to checking receipts, bag checks, etc. and all other Company and legal legislation
- ability to stand for extended periods of time
- ability to assist in customer service and sales functions as needed
- performing other duties as assigned
NYC compensation from $15 an hour.
